What Is Telcoin?

Banked, still bracing.

Telcoin is a mobile-first payments project that routes remittances through telecom partners, and since November 2025 it is something rarer: the company behind it won the first regulated digital asset bank charter in the United States, in Nebraska, complete with its own eUSD stablecoin. Regulatory milestones do not automatically translate into crowd confidence, and the CFGI Telcoin fear and greed index has spent its first weeks proving the point.

The CFGI read: Telcoin's best day on the index was its first. It debuted on 8 July 2026 at 47 out of 100, Neutral, with the price at $0.0023, which also remains the highest price of the window. Both have gone downhill since: 14 of 19 days in Fear, one in Extreme Fear, none anywhere near Greed, and an average reading of 33 out of 100.

Telcoin Fear and Greed Index History

Q3 2026 breakdown. The table below updates daily.

The descent was orderly and relentless. A 12-point drop on 9 July 2026 pushed the score out of Neutral almost immediately, and a nine-day Fear-or-worse run from 12 July 2026 carried it to the floor: 18 out of 100 on 18 July 2026, an Extreme Fear print at $0.0018. That reading was strikingly lonely. Of the tokens we track, 124 sat in Fear or worse that day but only two were in Extreme Fear, so this was not the market's gloom. It was Telcoin's own.

The bounce came the next day, 13 points on 19 July 2026, but the recovery has been half-hearted, ending the window at 31 out of 100 with the price down 26.8% and the low of $0.0017 printed on 24 July 2026. A banking charter is a slow asset in a fast market, and the crowd is pricing the wait, part of the story the full crypto and stock Fear and Greed Index tells one asset at a time.

TEL Fear and Greed Index FAQ

What is the TEL Fear and Greed Index today?

The TEL Fear and Greed Index today is 35/100 on the daily view, showing Fear. It summarizes live TEL market sentiment on a 0 to 100 scale.

How is the TEL Fear and Greed Index calculated?

CFGI combines price action, impulse, volatility, volume, technicals, social sentiment, dominance, search interest, whale activity and order book pressure into one TEL fear and greed reading.

What is a good TEL Fear and Greed Index reading?

There is no single good reading, because the index measures mood rather than value. Extreme Fear below 25 marks the points where sentiment is most washed out, and Extreme Greed above 75 the points carrying the most risk, so what counts as good depends on whether you are buying or selling.

How accurate is the TEL Fear and Greed Index?

It reads sentiment accurately and predicts price poorly, and those are two different things. The score reflects what the TEL market feels right now across ten live inputs, so treat it as a risk gauge rather than a forecast: it tells you how one-sided the crowd has become, not what happens next.

What does the TEL Fear and Greed Index measure?

It measures the emotional state of the TEL market on a 0 to 100 scale, from extreme fear at 0 to extreme greed at 100. CFGI builds that number from ten indicators including price action, volatility, volume, momentum, technicals and social sentiment, rather than from price alone.

How do I use the TEL Fear and Greed Index?

Most people use it to size risk rather than to time entries. The extreme readings are the useful ones: they flag when the crowd has become one-sided, which is when caution costs least and greed costs most. Read it alongside price and volume, never on its own.

How often is the TEL Fear and Greed Index updated?

The TEL Fear and Greed Index is updated every 15 minutes, so the live reading can change as TEL market conditions shift.

What does a low TEL Fear and Greed score mean?

A low score (0 to 39) signals fear or extreme fear, where traders are cautious, risk-averse or pessimistic about the TEL market.

What does a high TEL Fear and Greed score mean?

A high score (60 to 100) signals greed or extreme greed, where confidence, risk appetite and bullish sentiment dominate the TEL market.

Can I get alerts when the TEL Fear and Greed Index changes?

Yes. CFGI alerts let you track TEL sentiment across daily, 4-hour, 1-hour and 15-minute timeframes. Create alerts for fear, greed, extreme readings or specific TEL Fear and Greed Index score changes.
