Is the CFGI widget really free?

Yes. The CFGI crypto Fear and Greed widget is free to embed on websites, blogs, dashboards and community pages. No account or API key is required. Keep the CFGI attribution link intact.

What does my site get from one line of code?

A hosted Fear and Greed widget with market or token selection, timeframe selection, dark or light theme and automatic updates from CFGI.

Can I embed a Bitcoin Fear and Greed widget?

Yes. Use symbol=BTC for a Bitcoin Fear and Greed widget. You can also use supported symbols such as ETH, SOL, XRP and DOGE for token-specific widgets.

Can I embed the whole crypto market index?

Yes. Use symbol=MARKET to show the market-wide Crypto Fear and Greed Index widget.

Can I change the theme and size?

Yes. Use theme=dark or theme=light, and set the iframe width and height to fit your page layout.

What is the difference between the gauge and the report?

The gauge is a live dial showing the current Fear and Greed reading. The report is a written daily, weekly or monthly recap: the score, the move over the period, the high and low, the price change, days by sentiment zone and what is driving the reading. Both update automatically and both link back to CFGI.

Can I embed without an iframe?

Yes. Where iframes are blocked, like GitHub READMEs or email, use the static image version: a live PNG you embed with a standard image tag. It refreshes on CFGI servers with the attribution baked in.

When should I use the API instead?

Use the free widget when you want a finished visual embed. Use the CFGI API when you want raw sentiment data inside your own app, bot, model or interface.

Do I need to keep the attribution link?

Yes. The widget links back to CFGI.io so visitors can explore the full index and so the free embed stays sustainable.
