What Is TAC?
Born flinching.
TAC is an EVM-compatible network built to connect Ethereum's applications to TON and, through it, to Telegram's enormous user base. Solidity apps deploy without rewrites and reach users inside the messenger, with the TAC token paying for gas, staking and governance. The pitch is distribution at a scale most chains can only imagine. The crowd's first reading of it, on the CFGI TAC fear and greed index, was the opposite of imagination: it was a flinch.
The CFGI read: TAC joined the index on 8 July 2026 at 17 out of 100, in Extreme Fear, and that debut print is still its all-time low. The context softens it only partly: 94 of the 193 tokens scored that day were in Fear or worse, six of them in Extreme Fear, so TAC arrived into a nervy tape. What followed is more telling. The price jumped to its window high of $0.0048 the very next day and finished the 19-day window up 23.6%, yet Greed barely registered with the crowd.
TAC Fear and Greed Index History
Q3 2026 breakdown. The table below updates daily.
That gap between price and mood is the defining feature of TAC's opening record. An eight-day Fear-or-worse run from 8 July 2026, an average reading of 35 out of 100, and a ceiling of just 48, a Neutral print on 18 July 2026 at $0.0034 that was promptly answered by a 15-point drop the next day. The best single-day recovery, 14 points on 23 July 2026 from 32 to 46, still could not carry the score out of the lower half of the dial.
TAC closed the window at 37 out of 100, in Fear, with the price at $0.0034 against a low of $0.0028 on 13 July 2026. A token can rally 23.6% while its crowd stays braced; that divergence is precisely what the whole-market Fear and Greed Index is built to surface, and it usually means holders are still deciding whether the distribution story survives contact with the market. Nineteen days in, they have not decided.

TAC Fear and Greed Index FAQ
What is the TAC Fear and Greed Index today?
The TAC Fear and Greed Index today is 40/100 on the daily view, showing Neutral. It summarizes live TAC market sentiment on a 0 to 100 scale.
How is the TAC Fear and Greed Index calculated?
CFGI combines price action, impulse, volatility, volume, technicals, social sentiment, dominance, search interest, whale activity and order book pressure into one TAC fear and greed reading.
What is a good TAC Fear and Greed Index reading?
There is no single good reading, because the index measures mood rather than value. Extreme Fear below 25 marks the points where sentiment is most washed out, and Extreme Greed above 75 the points carrying the most risk, so what counts as good depends on whether you are buying or selling.
How accurate is the TAC Fear and Greed Index?
It reads sentiment accurately and predicts price poorly, and those are two different things. The score reflects what the TAC market feels right now across ten live inputs, so treat it as a risk gauge rather than a forecast: it tells you how one-sided the crowd has become, not what happens next.
What does the TAC Fear and Greed Index measure?
It measures the emotional state of the TAC market on a 0 to 100 scale, from extreme fear at 0 to extreme greed at 100. CFGI builds that number from ten indicators including price action, volatility, volume, momentum, technicals and social sentiment, rather than from price alone.
How do I use the TAC Fear and Greed Index?
Most people use it to size risk rather than to time entries. The extreme readings are the useful ones: they flag when the crowd has become one-sided, which is when caution costs least and greed costs most. Read it alongside price and volume, never on its own.
How often is the TAC Fear and Greed Index updated?
The TAC Fear and Greed Index is updated every 15 minutes, so the live reading can change as TAC market conditions shift.
What does a low TAC Fear and Greed score mean?
A low score (0 to 39) signals fear or extreme fear, where traders are cautious, risk-averse or pessimistic about the TAC market.
What does a high TAC Fear and Greed score mean?
A high score (60 to 100) signals greed or extreme greed, where confidence, risk appetite and bullish sentiment dominate the TAC market.
