What Is Solstice?

Bright name, cold open.

Solstice is a yield protocol built on Solana, a self-styled Yield Layer that routes institutional-grade, delta-neutral strategies into open DeFi through its USX digital dollar and the yield-bearing eUSX. The SLX token launched in 2026 as the ecosystem's governance and access layer, with no venture allocation and a fixed supply. That is the pitch. The crowd's verdict, in its first weeks on the CFGI Solstice fear and greed index, has been considerably chillier.

The CFGI read: Solstice has spent 14 of its first 17 days on the index in Fear, with Greed barely registering, and its average reading of 36 out of 100 makes the mood plain. The token opened its life in an eight-day Fear-or-worse run from 10 July 2026, and this was not the market dragging it down: when the score bottomed at 32 on 14 July 2026, just 79 of the tokens we track were in Fear or worse. The anxiety here is Solstice's own.

Solstice Fear and Greed Index History

Q3 2026 breakdown. The table below updates daily.

Solstice joined the index on 10 July 2026, and its first print remains its best price: $0.1675 that day, sliding 34.9% to $0.1091 by 26 July 2026, with the low of $0.1027 on 20 July 2026. Sentiment has barely approached Greed. The ceiling so far is 46 out of 100, a Neutral reading on 24 July 2026 that arrived on a 12-point jump, the token's biggest, at a price of $0.1216.

That recovery did not hold. The score gave back 10 points on 26 July 2026 to close the window at 36, back in Fear, where this crowd has spent most of its short life. Seventeen days is far too early to call a character, but the opening chapter reads clearly enough against the live Fear and Greed Index for the whole market, which closed the same day at a Neutral 51 while Solstice's holders stayed braced. A yield protocol sells calm; its token's crowd has yet to buy any.

SLX Fear and Greed Index FAQ

What is the SLX Fear and Greed Index today?

The SLX Fear and Greed Index today is 38/100 on the daily view, showing Fear. It summarizes live SLX market sentiment on a 0 to 100 scale.

How is the SLX Fear and Greed Index calculated?

CFGI combines price action, impulse, volatility, volume, technicals, social sentiment, dominance, search interest, whale activity and order book pressure into one SLX fear and greed reading.

What is a good SLX Fear and Greed Index reading?

There is no single good reading, because the index measures mood rather than value. Extreme Fear below 25 marks the points where sentiment is most washed out, and Extreme Greed above 75 the points carrying the most risk, so what counts as good depends on whether you are buying or selling.

How accurate is the SLX Fear and Greed Index?

It reads sentiment accurately and predicts price poorly, and those are two different things. The score reflects what the SLX market feels right now across ten live inputs, so treat it as a risk gauge rather than a forecast: it tells you how one-sided the crowd has become, not what happens next.

What does the SLX Fear and Greed Index measure?

It measures the emotional state of the SLX market on a 0 to 100 scale, from extreme fear at 0 to extreme greed at 100. CFGI builds that number from ten indicators including price action, volatility, volume, momentum, technicals and social sentiment, rather than from price alone.

How do I use the SLX Fear and Greed Index?

Most people use it to size risk rather than to time entries. The extreme readings are the useful ones: they flag when the crowd has become one-sided, which is when caution costs least and greed costs most. Read it alongside price and volume, never on its own.

How often is the SLX Fear and Greed Index updated?

The SLX Fear and Greed Index is updated every 15 minutes, so the live reading can change as SLX market conditions shift.

What does a low SLX Fear and Greed score mean?

A low score (0 to 39) signals fear or extreme fear, where traders are cautious, risk-averse or pessimistic about the SLX market.

What does a high SLX Fear and Greed score mean?

A high score (60 to 100) signals greed or extreme greed, where confidence, risk appetite and bullish sentiment dominate the SLX market.

Can I get alerts when the SLX Fear and Greed Index changes?
