Current PI Fear and Greed Index Value

The current PI Fear and Greed Index value is measured from 0 to 100. Lower scores suggest fear, uncertainty or weak confidence in the PI market, while higher scores suggest greed, confidence or stronger risk appetite.

What Is Pi Network?

Patience, finally priced.

Pi Network began in 2019 as a Stanford-born experiment in making mining as easy as tapping a phone app once a day, and its community of self-styled Pioneers spent years accumulating a token they could not yet trade. The open market arrived long after the crowd did, which makes Pi a rare thing on the CFGI Pi Network fear and greed index: an asset whose holders had years of conviction banked before the first candle printed. Scored here since 8 July 2026, that conviction is now being tested in public.

The CFGI read: Pi's first 19 days on the index have been an education in whiplash. It arrived in Extreme Fear and held it for three straight days from 8 July 2026, then spent its first ten days entirely in Fear or worse. The low, 11 out of 100 on 15 July 2026 at $0.0788, was a private panic: just one of the tokens we track closed in Extreme Fear that day, with the wider board only leaning cautious at 69 of 300 in Fear or worse.

Pi Network Fear and Greed Index History

Q3 2026 breakdown. The table below updates daily.

Five days after that bottom the crowd was in Greed, 65 out of 100 on 20 July 2026 with the price at $0.0961. Three days later it shed 21 points in one session, from 52 to 31 on 23 July. That is a 54 point range inside three weeks, the kind of single-asset tantrum the market-wide Fear and Greed Index is built to smooth into a steadier whole-market reading.

The price has followed the mood down more than up, 19.3% lower across the window, from $0.1028 on 8 July to $0.0830, with the low of $0.0763 printed on 16 July 2026, one day after the sentiment bottom. Today the dial shows 36, Fear, the average across its short life is just 32, and six of its 19 scored days sit in Extreme Fear. For a community famous for its patience, the market chapter has begun as the most impatient stretch of the story.

PI Fear and Greed Index FAQ

What is the PI Fear and Greed Index today?

The PI Fear and Greed Index today is 49/100 on the daily view, showing Neutral. It summarizes live PI market sentiment on a 0 to 100 scale.

How is the PI Fear and Greed Index calculated?

CFGI combines price action, impulse, volatility, volume, technicals, social sentiment, dominance, search interest, whale activity and order book pressure into one PI fear and greed reading.

What is a good PI Fear and Greed Index reading?

There is no single good reading, because the index measures mood rather than value. Extreme Fear below 25 marks the points where sentiment is most washed out, and Extreme Greed above 75 the points carrying the most risk, so what counts as good depends on whether you are buying or selling.

How accurate is the PI Fear and Greed Index?

It reads sentiment accurately and predicts price poorly, and those are two different things. The score reflects what the PI market feels right now across ten live inputs, so treat it as a risk gauge rather than a forecast: it tells you how one-sided the crowd has become, not what happens next.

What does the PI Fear and Greed Index measure?

It measures the emotional state of the PI market on a 0 to 100 scale, from extreme fear at 0 to extreme greed at 100. CFGI builds that number from ten indicators including price action, volatility, volume, momentum, technicals and social sentiment, rather than from price alone.

How do I use the PI Fear and Greed Index?

Most people use it to size risk rather than to time entries. The extreme readings are the useful ones: they flag when the crowd has become one-sided, which is when caution costs least and greed costs most. Read it alongside price and volume, never on its own.

How often is the PI Fear and Greed Index updated?

The PI Fear and Greed Index is updated every 15 minutes, so the live reading can change as PI market conditions shift.

What does a low PI Fear and Greed score mean?

A low score (0 to 39) signals fear or extreme fear, where traders are cautious, risk-averse or pessimistic about the PI market.

What does a high PI Fear and Greed score mean?

A high score (60 to 100) signals greed or extreme greed, where confidence, risk appetite and bullish sentiment dominate the PI market.

Can I get alerts when the PI Fear and Greed Index changes?

Yes. CFGI alerts let you track PI sentiment across daily, 4-hour, 1-hour and 15-minute timeframes. Create alerts for fear, greed, extreme readings or specific PI Fear and Greed Index score changes.

Yes. The CFGI widget lets you embed a live PI Fear and Greed Index on your website, so visitors can see current PI sentiment, live scores and market conditions without you building the data system yourself.
