What Is Neiro?
Doge's battered heir.
Neiro is the memecoin named after the rescue shiba inu adopted by Atsuko Sato, owner of the late Kabosu, the dog behind the original Doge meme. The Ethereum token was minted as a succession story: same family, new dog. On the CFGI Neiro fear and greed index it has instead become our study in endurance, because few crowds we track have spent this long this frightened.
The CFGI read: Neiro's record is dominated by one long winter. Between 27 March and 7 July 2026 it logged 56 days in Extreme Fear, the tail of a 60-day stretch in Fear or worse that opened with a 24 point trapdoor on 23 March, 50 down to 26, and bottomed at 13 out of 100 on 27 March. Only 5 of the 102 assets scored that day were in Extreme Fear, so the despair was not the market's, it was Neiro's, tracking a price that collapsed 81.5% over the window, from $0.00033 to $0.000061.
Neiro Fear and Greed Index History
Q3 2026 breakdown. The table below updates daily.
Across 341 scored days since 21 June 2025, with history back to 13 November 2024, Neiro's ledger reads 58 days in Extreme Fear, 122 in Fear, 148 in Neutral and just 13 in Greed. Those 58 Extreme Fear days rank fourth among the tokens in our crypto coverage with a full year of history, and only two of those crowds carry an average more fearful than Neiro's 37. Even its best day was restrained, a 66 out of 100 on 21 July 2025 at $0.00055, and the price high of $0.00077 came early, on 29 September 2025.
Then the thaw. On 8 July 2026, the day the long streak finally broke, the score leapt 27 points from 14 to 41, its biggest single-day climb on record, and it closes the window at 51, Neutral, its first stretch of ordinary feeling in months. That reading flows into the market-wide Fear and Greed Index like any other, but Neiro's contribution this year has been a lesson in how long a memecoin crowd can hold its breath.

Neiro Fear and Greed Index FAQ
What is the Neiro Fear and Greed Index today?
The Neiro Fear and Greed Index today is 55/100 on the daily view, showing Neutral. It summarizes live Neiro market sentiment on a 0 to 100 scale.
How is the Neiro Fear and Greed Index calculated?
CFGI combines price action, impulse, volatility, volume, technicals, social sentiment, dominance, search interest, whale activity and order book pressure into one Neiro fear and greed reading.
What is a good Neiro Fear and Greed Index reading?
There is no single good reading, because the index measures mood rather than value. Extreme Fear below 25 marks the points where sentiment is most washed out, and Extreme Greed above 75 the points carrying the most risk, so what counts as good depends on whether you are buying or selling.
How accurate is the Neiro Fear and Greed Index?
It reads sentiment accurately and predicts price poorly, and those are two different things. The score reflects what the Neiro market feels right now across ten live inputs, so treat it as a risk gauge rather than a forecast: it tells you how one-sided the crowd has become, not what happens next.
What does the Neiro Fear and Greed Index measure?
It measures the emotional state of the Neiro market on a 0 to 100 scale, from extreme fear at 0 to extreme greed at 100. CFGI builds that number from ten indicators including price action, volatility, volume, momentum, technicals and social sentiment, rather than from price alone.
How do I use the Neiro Fear and Greed Index?
Most people use it to size risk rather than to time entries. The extreme readings are the useful ones: they flag when the crowd has become one-sided, which is when caution costs least and greed costs most. Read it alongside price and volume, never on its own.
How often is the Neiro Fear and Greed Index updated?
The Neiro Fear and Greed Index is updated every 15 minutes, so the live reading can change as Neiro market conditions shift.
What does a low Neiro Fear and Greed score mean?
A low score (0 to 39) signals fear or extreme fear, where traders are cautious, risk-averse or pessimistic about the Neiro market.
What does a high Neiro Fear and Greed score mean?
A high score (60 to 100) signals greed or extreme greed, where confidence, risk appetite and bullish sentiment dominate the Neiro market.
