What Is MBG By Multibank Group?
TradFi's baptism by fire.
MBG is the token of MultiBank Group, a financial derivatives institution founded in 2005 that assembled one of traditional finance's more heavily regulated brokerage networks before extending into crypto and tokenised real world assets. The token arrived carrying licences and head offices behind it, and its debut taught the CFGI MBG fear and greed index a blunt lesson: pedigree buys no calm.
The CFGI read: MBG's first 17 days on the index average just 23 out of 100, deep Fear as a resting state, with five separate closes in Extreme Fear. The floor of 14 out of 100 on 14 July 2026, with the price at $0.13, printed on a day when only 79 of the tokens we track were in Fear or worse. The market was not panicking. This crowd was, alone.
MBG By Multibank Group Fear and Greed Index History
Q3 2026 breakdown. The table below updates daily.
MBG listed on 10 July 2026 and went straight down, opening a fourteen day Fear or worse run that lasted to 23 July and included back to back Extreme Fear closes on 13 and 14 July. The price fell with the mood, 24.8% across the window from $0.15 to $0.113, bottoming at $0.110 on 23 July, the day before everything turned.
The turn was violent in the other direction. On 24 July the score jumped 22 points from 20 to 42, the crowd's first Neutral close, relapsed 13 points to 29 on 25 July, then closed 26 July at 43, which is simultaneously its current reading and the highest it has ever printed. A debut that began in private panic now sits eight points shy of the 51 on the main Fear and Greed Index, a traditional finance crowd learning, in public and in a hurry, how crypto sentiment actually moves.

MBG Fear and Greed Index FAQ
What is the MBG Fear and Greed Index today?
The MBG Fear and Greed Index today is 34/100 on the daily view, showing Fear. It summarizes live MBG market sentiment on a 0 to 100 scale.
How is the MBG Fear and Greed Index calculated?
CFGI combines price action, impulse, volatility, volume, technicals, social sentiment, dominance, search interest, whale activity and order book pressure into one MBG fear and greed reading.
What is a good MBG Fear and Greed Index reading?
There is no single good reading, because the index measures mood rather than value. Extreme Fear below 25 marks the points where sentiment is most washed out, and Extreme Greed above 75 the points carrying the most risk, so what counts as good depends on whether you are buying or selling.
How accurate is the MBG Fear and Greed Index?
It reads sentiment accurately and predicts price poorly, and those are two different things. The score reflects what the MBG market feels right now across ten live inputs, so treat it as a risk gauge rather than a forecast: it tells you how one-sided the crowd has become, not what happens next.
What does the MBG Fear and Greed Index measure?
It measures the emotional state of the MBG market on a 0 to 100 scale, from extreme fear at 0 to extreme greed at 100. CFGI builds that number from ten indicators including price action, volatility, volume, momentum, technicals and social sentiment, rather than from price alone.
How do I use the MBG Fear and Greed Index?
Most people use it to size risk rather than to time entries. The extreme readings are the useful ones: they flag when the crowd has become one-sided, which is when caution costs least and greed costs most. Read it alongside price and volume, never on its own.
How often is the MBG Fear and Greed Index updated?
The MBG Fear and Greed Index is updated every 15 minutes, so the live reading can change as MBG market conditions shift.
What does a low MBG Fear and Greed score mean?
A low score (0 to 39) signals fear or extreme fear, where traders are cautious, risk-averse or pessimistic about the MBG market.
What does a high MBG Fear and Greed score mean?
