What Is LAB?
Born falling.
LAB is the token of a multi-chain trading terminal, a single interface for spot and perpetual trading across several networks with an AI research layer attached. Its market story has been brutal: a vertical run after its late 2025 launch, then a steep 2026 decline amid concerns over concentrated token allocations and looming unlock schedules. By the time it reached the CFGI LAB fear and greed index, the fall was already in motion.
The CFGI read: LAB opened its life on the index in Extreme Fear, closing both 8 and 9 July 2026 at the bottom of the scale, and spent its first 16 days, 8 to 23 July, in Fear or worse. The floor of 17 out of 100 on 9 July came while only 71 of the 193 assets we tracked sat in Fear or worse: this was not the market's fear, it was LAB's alone. The 19-day average of 32 is the mood of a crowd watching a collapse in real time.
LAB Fear and Greed Index History
Q3 2026 breakdown. The table below updates daily.
The price explains everything. From $1.27 on 8 July, its first scored day and its high, LAB fell 87.7% in 19 days to $0.16, touching $0.14 on 21 July. The ledger reads 2 days of Extreme Fear, 15 of Fear and just 2 of Neutral.
The strange mercy came at the end. LAB's calmest reading, 47 out of 100 on 24 July, printed at $0.16, after the collapse was substantially complete, and it was reached by a 16-point jump from 31 the day before, the largest move of its scored life. Relief, in this data, only arrived once there was little left to lose. LAB closes the window at 38, in Fear, a cautionary line item on the Fear and Greed Index.

LAB Fear and Greed Index FAQ
What is the LAB Fear and Greed Index today?
The LAB Fear and Greed Index today is 39/100 on the daily view, showing Fear. It summarizes live LAB market sentiment on a 0 to 100 scale.
How is the LAB Fear and Greed Index calculated?
CFGI combines price action, impulse, volatility, volume, technicals, social sentiment, dominance, search interest, whale activity and order book pressure into one LAB fear and greed reading.
What is a good LAB Fear and Greed Index reading?
There is no single good reading, because the index measures mood rather than value. Extreme Fear below 25 marks the points where sentiment is most washed out, and Extreme Greed above 75 the points carrying the most risk, so what counts as good depends on whether you are buying or selling.
How accurate is the LAB Fear and Greed Index?
It reads sentiment accurately and predicts price poorly, and those are two different things. The score reflects what the LAB market feels right now across ten live inputs, so treat it as a risk gauge rather than a forecast: it tells you how one-sided the crowd has become, not what happens next.
What does the LAB Fear and Greed Index measure?
It measures the emotional state of the LAB market on a 0 to 100 scale, from extreme fear at 0 to extreme greed at 100. CFGI builds that number from ten indicators including price action, volatility, volume, momentum, technicals and social sentiment, rather than from price alone.
How do I use the LAB Fear and Greed Index?
Most people use it to size risk rather than to time entries. The extreme readings are the useful ones: they flag when the crowd has become one-sided, which is when caution costs least and greed costs most. Read it alongside price and volume, never on its own.
How often is the LAB Fear and Greed Index updated?
The LAB Fear and Greed Index is updated every 15 minutes, so the live reading can change as LAB market conditions shift.
What does a low LAB Fear and Greed score mean?
A low score (0 to 39) signals fear or extreme fear, where traders are cautious, risk-averse or pessimistic about the LAB market.
What does a high LAB Fear and Greed score mean?
A high score (60 to 100) signals greed or extreme greed, where confidence, risk appetite and bullish sentiment dominate the LAB market.
