What Is DeXe?

Nineteen days of whiplash.

DeXe is meant to be crypto's sober plumbing. The protocol is a no-code governance layer on Ethereum for launching and running DAOs, complete with proposal systems, delegation and treasury controls, and the DEXE token is the lever its holders use to steer it. What its own crowd just did, however, is anything but sober.

The CFGI read: DEXE joined the index on 8 July 2026 and has already visited all five zones, the only kind of completeness no project brags about. It printed 90 out of 100, deep Extreme Greed, on 11 July 2026 with the price at $39.13, and 15 out of 100, Extreme Fear, eleven days later on 22 July 2026 at $4.58. Between those two readings sits the most violent single day we have recorded for it: a 45-point collapse from 77 to 32 on 15 July 2026.

DeXe Fear and Greed Index History

Q3 2026 breakdown. The table below updates daily.

The shape of DEXE's first 19 days is a round trip. Four consecutive days of Extreme Greed from 10 July 2026 carried the price to its high of $47.20 on 12 July 2026, then the floor gave way: an 87.9% fall across the window as a whole, bottoming at $1.82 on 23 July 2026 in the middle of a three-day Extreme Fear run.

What makes the episode unusual is how alone DEXE was in it. On 22 July 2026, the day of its worst reading, just 87 of the 300 coins on the market-wide Fear and Greed Index sat in Fear or worse and only 2 in Extreme Fear. This was not the market's storm, it was DeXe's own.

The crowd, remarkably, is already back on its feet. The biggest jump in the record, 27 points from 21 to 48, came on 26 July 2026, and DEXE closes the window at 48, Neutral, with 5 of its 19 days spent in Extreme Greed and 3 in Extreme Fear. Whatever this ledger becomes, it will not be boring.

DEXE Fear and Greed Index FAQ

What is the DEXE Fear and Greed Index today?

The DEXE Fear and Greed Index today is 31/100 on the daily view, showing Fear. It summarizes live DEXE market sentiment on a 0 to 100 scale.

How is the DEXE Fear and Greed Index calculated?

CFGI combines price action, impulse, volatility, volume, technicals, social sentiment, dominance, search interest, whale activity and order book pressure into one DEXE fear and greed reading.

What is a good DEXE Fear and Greed Index reading?

There is no single good reading, because the index measures mood rather than value. Extreme Fear below 25 marks the points where sentiment is most washed out, and Extreme Greed above 75 the points carrying the most risk, so what counts as good depends on whether you are buying or selling.

How accurate is the DEXE Fear and Greed Index?

It reads sentiment accurately and predicts price poorly, and those are two different things. The score reflects what the DEXE market feels right now across ten live inputs, so treat it as a risk gauge rather than a forecast: it tells you how one-sided the crowd has become, not what happens next.

What does the DEXE Fear and Greed Index measure?

It measures the emotional state of the DEXE market on a 0 to 100 scale, from extreme fear at 0 to extreme greed at 100. CFGI builds that number from ten indicators including price action, volatility, volume, momentum, technicals and social sentiment, rather than from price alone.

How do I use the DEXE Fear and Greed Index?

Most people use it to size risk rather than to time entries. The extreme readings are the useful ones: they flag when the crowd has become one-sided, which is when caution costs least and greed costs most. Read it alongside price and volume, never on its own.

How often is the DEXE Fear and Greed Index updated?

The DEXE Fear and Greed Index is updated every 15 minutes, so the live reading can change as DEXE market conditions shift.

What does a low DEXE Fear and Greed score mean?

A low score (0 to 39) signals fear or extreme fear, where traders are cautious, risk-averse or pessimistic about the DEXE market.

What does a high DEXE Fear and Greed score mean?

A high score (60 to 100) signals greed or extreme greed, where confidence, risk appetite and bullish sentiment dominate the DEXE market.

Can I get alerts when the DEXE Fear and Greed Index changes?
