What Is UFD?
Satire with steady nerves.
Unicorn Fart Dust is what happens when a precious metals YouTuber turns his own insult into an asset. Ron Branstetter, a gold and silver commentator who had once dismissed Bitcoin as unicorn fart dust, launched UFD on Solana in December 2024 as a live experiment in how far a joke about speculation could itself be speculated on. The punchline, visible across 332 days of the CFGI UFD fear and greed index, is that the satire token has one of the steadiest crowds we track.
The CFGI read: UFD has hardly ever closed a day in Extreme Fear in 332 days, and by average score it ranks 100th of the tokens we rank on fearfulness, meaning only four crowds sit calmer. It spent 217 days, roughly two thirds of the window, in Neutral. The sternest test proves the point: on 11 October 2025, the worst Extreme Fear day of the crypto year, with 17 of 96 tokens in the deepest zone and 93 of 96 in Fear or worse, UFD bottomed at 25 out of 100, ordinary Fear, and went no further.
UFD Fear and Greed Index History
Q3 2026 breakdown. The table below updates daily.
Its exuberance was similarly measured. The high of 78 out of 100, Greed, came on 23 January 2026 at a price of $0.0170, and the longest run of Greed or better, 13 days, ended on 27 July 2025, early in the window. Extreme Greed barely featured. This is a crowd that took the joke seriously in the healthiest way, trading it without ever quite believing in it.
The price has drifted rather than collapsed by memecoin standards, down 30.1% across the window from $0.0162 to $0.0113, though the range is wide, from $0.0518 on 27 July 2025 to $0.0078 on 10 February 2026, at the tail of a 13 day run of Fear or worse that lasted from 31 January to 12 February. Today UFD reads 38 out of 100, Fear, a shade below its long-run average of 49, and its place on the full Fear and Greed Index remains what it has always been: the joke that keeps its nerve.

Ufd Fear and Greed Index FAQ
What is the Ufd Fear and Greed Index today?
The Ufd Fear and Greed Index today is 29/100 on the daily view, showing Fear. It summarizes live Ufd market sentiment on a 0 to 100 scale.
How is the Ufd Fear and Greed Index calculated?
CFGI combines price action, impulse, volatility, volume, technicals, social sentiment, dominance, search interest, whale activity and order book pressure into one Ufd fear and greed reading.
What is a good Ufd Fear and Greed Index reading?
There is no single good reading, because the index measures mood rather than value. Extreme Fear below 25 marks the points where sentiment is most washed out, and Extreme Greed above 75 the points carrying the most risk, so what counts as good depends on whether you are buying or selling.
How accurate is the Ufd Fear and Greed Index?
It reads sentiment accurately and predicts price poorly, and those are two different things. The score reflects what the Ufd market feels right now across ten live inputs, so treat it as a risk gauge rather than a forecast: it tells you how one-sided the crowd has become, not what happens next.
What does the Ufd Fear and Greed Index measure?
It measures the emotional state of the Ufd market on a 0 to 100 scale, from extreme fear at 0 to extreme greed at 100. CFGI builds that number from ten indicators including price action, volatility, volume, momentum, technicals and social sentiment, rather than from price alone.
How do I use the Ufd Fear and Greed Index?
Most people use it to size risk rather than to time entries. The extreme readings are the useful ones: they flag when the crowd has become one-sided, which is when caution costs least and greed costs most. Read it alongside price and volume, never on its own.
How often is the Ufd Fear and Greed Index updated?
The Ufd Fear and Greed Index is updated every 15 minutes, so the live reading can change as Ufd market conditions shift.
What does a low Ufd Fear and Greed score mean?
A low score (0 to 39) signals fear or extreme fear, where traders are cautious, risk-averse or pessimistic about the Ufd market.
