What Is Secret?

Private code, public mood.

Secret is the privacy layer 1 that made encryption a smart-contract feature: a Cosmos-built network, live since 2020, whose contracts keep their inputs, state and outputs hidden so applications can compute on data nobody else sees. It is one of crypto's longest-running privacy experiments. The CFGI Secret fear and greed index, which began tracking it on 10 July 2026, offers the one thing the chain itself withholds: a fully visible reading of what its crowd is feeling.

The CFGI read: Secret's opening fortnight was a sprint through the whole emotional range. It bottomed at 30 out of 100 on 11 July 2026 at $0.0431, jumped 15 points to 45 the next day, peaked at 52 on 13 July, then gave back 16 points to 36 on 14 July. Four days, a 22-point round trip, and a telling detail inside it: the mood high at 52 was printed at $0.0417, a lower price than the mood low carried. This crowd was not reading the ticker. It was reading itself.

Secret Fear and Greed Index History

Q3 2026 breakdown. The table below updates daily.

Since then the needle has settled. Across its first 17 days Secret has closed 10 in Neutral and 7 in Fear, and its only run of consecutive gloom was the two days it opened with, 10 and 11 July 2026. The price has drifted rather than dived, down 9.7% from $0.0423 to $0.0382, with the low of the window arriving on the final day, 26 July 2026.

The current reading is 40, Neutral, against a 17-day average of exactly the same number, which is about as centred as a young listing gets on the combined crypto and stock Fear and Greed Index. Early days: the chain that hides everything has so far given its watchers very little drama to decrypt.

SCRT Fear and Greed Index FAQ

What is the SCRT Fear and Greed Index today?

The SCRT Fear and Greed Index today is 33/100 on the daily view, showing Fear. It summarizes live SCRT market sentiment on a 0 to 100 scale.

How is the SCRT Fear and Greed Index calculated?

CFGI combines price action, impulse, volatility, volume, technicals, social sentiment, dominance, search interest, whale activity and order book pressure into one SCRT fear and greed reading.

What is a good SCRT Fear and Greed Index reading?

There is no single good reading, because the index measures mood rather than value. Extreme Fear below 25 marks the points where sentiment is most washed out, and Extreme Greed above 75 the points carrying the most risk, so what counts as good depends on whether you are buying or selling.

How accurate is the SCRT Fear and Greed Index?

It reads sentiment accurately and predicts price poorly, and those are two different things. The score reflects what the SCRT market feels right now across ten live inputs, so treat it as a risk gauge rather than a forecast: it tells you how one-sided the crowd has become, not what happens next.

What does the SCRT Fear and Greed Index measure?

It measures the emotional state of the SCRT market on a 0 to 100 scale, from extreme fear at 0 to extreme greed at 100. CFGI builds that number from ten indicators including price action, volatility, volume, momentum, technicals and social sentiment, rather than from price alone.

How do I use the SCRT Fear and Greed Index?

Most people use it to size risk rather than to time entries. The extreme readings are the useful ones: they flag when the crowd has become one-sided, which is when caution costs least and greed costs most. Read it alongside price and volume, never on its own.

How often is the SCRT Fear and Greed Index updated?

The SCRT Fear and Greed Index is updated every 15 minutes, so the live reading can change as SCRT market conditions shift.

What does a low SCRT Fear and Greed score mean?

A low score (0 to 39) signals fear or extreme fear, where traders are cautious, risk-averse or pessimistic about the SCRT market.

What does a high SCRT Fear and Greed score mean?

A high score (60 to 100) signals greed or extreme greed, where confidence, risk appetite and bullish sentiment dominate the SCRT market.

Can I get alerts when the SCRT Fear and Greed Index changes?
