Warner Bros Discovery market sentiment today is shaped by price action, volatility, trading volume, technical indicators, social activity and wider market behaviour. CFGI combines these signals to show how Warner Bros Discovery sentiment is changing throughout the day.

What Is Warner Bros Discovery?

Priced by lawyers, not viewers.

Warner Bros Discovery owns HBO Max, the Warner Bros film and television studios, CNN, Discovery and TNT Sports, assembled in a 2022 merger and, since 2025, in the process of being taken apart again. The company announced a split into a streaming and studios business and a global networks business, then agreed to sell itself to Paramount Skydance, a deal that has continued moving through regulatory review with completion not yet finalised. On the CFGI Warner Bros Discovery fear and greed index the crowd stopped watching the ratings and started watching the docket.

The CFGI read: In 273 scored sessions between June 2025 and July 2026, Warner Bros Discovery hardly ever closed a day in Extreme Fear. That places it 244th of the stocks we track by days in the deepest zone, and it happened while the share price rose 143.4%, from $10.68 to $25.99. Its worst reading of the whole window, 21 out of 100 on 8 August 2025 at $10.91, landed before the bid arrived, on a day when 67 of 247 stocks were in Fear or worse. Once a price is set by a buyer rather than by an audience, the downside emotion drains out of it.

Warner Bros Discovery Fear and Greed Index History

Q3 2026 breakdown. The table below updates daily.

The optimism came in two distinct waves. The first was a 17-session run in Greed or better from 8 to 30 July 2025, the longest streak of the window and the crowd's opening verdict on the break-up plan. The second was heavier: six consecutive days of Extreme Greed from 8 to 15 December 2025, with the share price peaking at $29.98 on 12 December. Across the window WBD spent 101 sessions in Greed or Extreme Greed against 38 in Fear, averaging 55 out of 100, comfortably above the middle of the combined crypto and stock Fear and Greed Index.

The peak reading, 88 out of 100 on 12 September 2025 at $18.87, is the highest we have ever scored for it, and it arrived barely five weeks after the floor. The move that started that climb, a 32-point jump on 13 August 2025 from 27 to 59, was its largest one-day gain. The falls never matched it: the worst was 22 points on 29 September 2025, from 73 to 51, which barely registers as a scare.

It ends the window at 46, in Neutral, which reads less like indifference than suspension. The price has come back from December's high, the score has settled into the middle of the dial, and a crowd that once traded on box office and subscriber numbers is now waiting on a court date instead of a quarter.

Warner Bros Discovery Fear and Greed Index FAQ

What is the Warner Bros Discovery Fear and Greed Index today?

How is the Warner Bros Discovery Fear and Greed Index calculated?

CFGI combines price action, impulse, volatility, volume, technicals, social sentiment, dominance, search interest, whale activity and order book pressure into one Warner Bros Discovery fear and greed reading.

What is a good Warner Bros Discovery Fear and Greed Index reading?

There is no single good reading, because the index measures mood rather than value. Extreme Fear below 25 marks the points where sentiment is most washed out, and Extreme Greed above 75 the points carrying the most risk, so what counts as good depends on whether you are buying or selling.

How accurate is the Warner Bros Discovery Fear and Greed Index?

It reads sentiment accurately and predicts price poorly, and those are two different things. The score reflects what the Warner Bros Discovery market feels right now across ten live inputs, so treat it as a risk gauge rather than a forecast: it tells you how one-sided the crowd has become, not what happens next.

What does the Warner Bros Discovery Fear and Greed Index measure?

It measures the emotional state of the Warner Bros Discovery market on a 0 to 100 scale, from extreme fear at 0 to extreme greed at 100. CFGI builds that number from ten indicators including price action, volatility, volume, momentum, technicals and social sentiment, rather than from price alone.

How do I use the Warner Bros Discovery Fear and Greed Index?

Most people use it to size risk rather than to time entries. The extreme readings are the useful ones: they flag when the crowd has become one-sided, which is when caution costs least and greed costs most. Read it alongside price and volume, never on its own.

How often is the Warner Bros Discovery Fear and Greed Index updated?

The Warner Bros Discovery Fear and Greed Index is updated every 15 minutes, so the live reading can change as Warner Bros Discovery market conditions shift.

What does a low Warner Bros Discovery Fear and Greed score mean?

A low score (0 to 39) signals fear or extreme fear, where traders are cautious, risk-averse or pessimistic about the Warner Bros Discovery market.

What does a high Warner Bros Discovery Fear and Greed score mean?

A high score (60 to 100) signals greed or extreme greed, where confidence, risk appetite and bullish sentiment dominate the Warner Bros Discovery market.
