Starbucks Market Sentiment Today

Starbucks market sentiment today is shaped by price action, volatility, trading volume, technical indicators, social activity and wider market behaviour. CFGI combines these signals to show how Starbucks sentiment is changing throughout the day.

What Is Starbucks?

Rarely at either extreme.

Starbucks turned a Seattle coffee bean shop opened in 1971 into the world's largest coffeehouse chain, and along the way into something closer to a consumer bellwether: tens of thousands of stores, a loyalty scheme that behaves like a payments business, and a daily habit priced in single dollars across dozens of currencies. That is why people reach for it to read the discretionary consumer. On the CFGI Starbucks fear and greed index the crowd around the stock turns out to be the least excitable thing about it.

The CFGI read: In 273 scored sessions between June 2025 and July 2026, Starbucks rarely closed a day in Extreme Fear or Extreme Greed. Both ends of the dial stayed thinly populated. Its entire thirteen month range ran from 21 out of 100 on 30 March 2026, with the shares at $86.72, to 78 out of 100 on 1 May 2026 at $105.90, and it spent 132 of those sessions, close to half the window, sitting in Neutral. This is a crowd that registers an opinion and then declines to shout it.

Starbucks Fear and Greed Index History

Q3 2026 breakdown. The table below updates daily.

Even the low was borrowed. On 30 March 2026, when Starbucks printed its 21, 160 of the 245 stocks we scored that day were in Fear or worse, one of the broadest waves of stock pessimism in the whole window, so the coffee crowd was going where everyone else went. That stretch lasted 12 sessions in Fear or worse, from 16 March to 31 March 2026, its longest of the year, and a month later the mood had reversed completely, with a 27 point jump on 29 April from 44 to 71.

The good spell came in winter: 15 consecutive sessions in Greed or better from 6 January to 27 January 2026, and even that never crossed into Extreme Greed. Across the window the score averaged 52 out of 100, close to dead centre, while the share price rose 12.3% from $92.34 to $103.74, bottoming at $78.46 on 10 October 2025 and topping at $108.08 on 16 July 2026. Its sharpest single day move was a 23 point slip on 23 December 2025, from 60 to 37, which barely counts as an event next to what other names manage. Starbucks closes at 43, in Neutral, where it spends most of its life. A stock this widely held sitting this still makes a useful control for reading the rest of the main Fear and Greed Index.

Starbucks Fear and Greed Index FAQ

What is the Starbucks Fear and Greed Index today?

The Starbucks Fear and Greed Index today is 62/100 on the daily view, showing Greed. It summarizes live Starbucks market sentiment on a 0 to 100 scale.

How is the Starbucks Fear and Greed Index calculated?

CFGI combines price action, impulse, volatility, volume, technicals, social sentiment, dominance, search interest, whale activity and order book pressure into one Starbucks fear and greed reading.

What is a good Starbucks Fear and Greed Index reading?

There is no single good reading, because the index measures mood rather than value. Extreme Fear below 25 marks the points where sentiment is most washed out, and Extreme Greed above 75 the points carrying the most risk, so what counts as good depends on whether you are buying or selling.

How accurate is the Starbucks Fear and Greed Index?

It reads sentiment accurately and predicts price poorly, and those are two different things. The score reflects what the Starbucks market feels right now across ten live inputs, so treat it as a risk gauge rather than a forecast: it tells you how one-sided the crowd has become, not what happens next.

What does the Starbucks Fear and Greed Index measure?

It measures the emotional state of the Starbucks market on a 0 to 100 scale, from extreme fear at 0 to extreme greed at 100. CFGI builds that number from ten indicators including price action, volatility, volume, momentum, technicals and social sentiment, rather than from price alone.

How do I use the Starbucks Fear and Greed Index?

Most people use it to size risk rather than to time entries. The extreme readings are the useful ones: they flag when the crowd has become one-sided, which is when caution costs least and greed costs most. Read it alongside price and volume, never on its own.

How often is the Starbucks Fear and Greed Index updated?

The Starbucks Fear and Greed Index is updated every 15 minutes, so the live reading can change as Starbucks market conditions shift.

What does a low Starbucks Fear and Greed score mean?

A low score (0 to 39) signals fear or extreme fear, where traders are cautious, risk-averse or pessimistic about the Starbucks market.

What does a high Starbucks Fear and Greed score mean?

A high score (60 to 100) signals greed or extreme greed, where confidence, risk appetite and bullish sentiment dominate the Starbucks market.

Can I get alerts when the Starbucks Fear and Greed Index changes?

Yes. CFGI alerts let you track Starbucks sentiment across daily, 4-hour, 1-hour and 15-minute timeframes. Create alerts for fear, greed, extreme readings or specific Starbucks Fear and Greed Index score changes.

Can I add the Starbucks Fear and Greed Index to my website?

Yes. The CFGI widget lets you embed a live Starbucks Fear and Greed Index on your website, so visitors can see current Starbucks sentiment, live scores and market conditions without you building the data system yourself.

Can I use Starbucks Fear and Greed data in my own app or trading bot?
