SpaceX Market Sentiment Today

SpaceX market sentiment today is shaped by price action, volatility, trading volume, technical indicators, social activity and wider market behaviour. CFGI combines these signals to show how SpaceX sentiment is changing throughout the day.

Compare SpaceX with the whole-market reading on the Stock Market Fear and Greed Index, or every company on the stock fear and greed directory.

What Is SpaceX?

Disappointed, rarely panicked.

SpaceX is the rocket company Elon Musk founded in 2002 to bring down the cost of reaching orbit, and it did: reusable Falcon boosters now fly a large share of the world's orbital launches, Starlink beams broadband from thousands of satellites, and Starship is the vehicle everything else is staked on. After two decades as one of the most closely held private companies in existence, it began trading under the ticker SPCX, and we started scoring it from that point.

We began scoring it on 16 June 2026, and 26 sessions in, the CFGI SpaceX fear and greed index has an unusual shape for a new listing.

The CFGI read: The highest reading SpaceX has produced was its first. On 16 June 2026, its opening day on the index, the score printed 76 out of 100, in Greed, with the shares at $201.80. Only three of its 26 scored days have closed in Greed at all. Across the rest the price fell 43.4% to $114.12, and here is the part that matters: Extreme Fear barely came into it. The floor was 22 out of 100, on 22 June, still inside plain Fear. This is a crowd that has been steadily disappointed and has rarely panicked.

SpaceX Fear and Greed Index History

Q3 2026 breakdown. The table below updates daily.

The shape of the decline shows up in the zone counts. Of 26 scored days, 16 closed in Fear, 7 in Neutral and 3 in Greed, for an average of 41 out of 100. The score fell 36 points on 18 June 2026, from 76 to 40, on only its third session, and although it recovered to 70 on 30 June on a 31-point jump, that proved to be the last warm reading of the window.

Since 14 July the crowd has held nine consecutive sessions in Fear or worse, a run still open when the window closed on 24 July 2026 at 31 out of 100, the same day the price set its low of $114.12. On the worst mood day, 22 June, 111 of the 246 stocks we scored sat in Fear or worse, so the grey was general that day, but SpaceX's cold stretch has outlasted the board's.

Twenty-six days is an opening chapter rather than a record, and a listing this new deserves patience before anyone assigns it a character. What the first chapter shows is a mood that fell fast and then refused to go all the way down, a distinct enough profile to be worth watching as it lengthens on the combined crypto and stock Fear and Greed Index.

SpaceX Fear and Greed Index FAQ

What is the SpaceX Fear and Greed Index today?

The SpaceX Fear and Greed Index today is 54/100 on the daily view, showing Neutral. It summarizes live SpaceX market sentiment on a 0 to 100 scale.

How is the SpaceX Fear and Greed Index calculated?

CFGI combines price action, impulse, volatility, volume, technicals, social sentiment, dominance, search interest, whale activity and order book pressure into one SpaceX fear and greed reading.

What is a good SpaceX Fear and Greed Index reading?

There is no single good reading, because the index measures mood rather than value. Extreme Fear below 25 marks the points where sentiment is most washed out, and Extreme Greed above 75 the points carrying the most risk, so what counts as good depends on whether you are buying or selling.

How accurate is the SpaceX Fear and Greed Index?

It reads sentiment accurately and predicts price poorly, and those are two different things. The score reflects what the SpaceX market feels right now across ten live inputs, so treat it as a risk gauge rather than a forecast: it tells you how one-sided the crowd has become, not what happens next.

What does the SpaceX Fear and Greed Index measure?

It measures the emotional state of the SpaceX market on a 0 to 100 scale, from extreme fear at 0 to extreme greed at 100. CFGI builds that number from ten indicators including price action, volatility, volume, momentum, technicals and social sentiment, rather than from price alone.

How do I use the SpaceX Fear and Greed Index?

Most people use it to size risk rather than to time entries. The extreme readings are the useful ones: they flag when the crowd has become one-sided, which is when caution costs least and greed costs most. Read it alongside price and volume, never on its own.

How often is the SpaceX Fear and Greed Index updated?

The SpaceX Fear and Greed Index is updated every 15 minutes, so the live reading can change as SpaceX market conditions shift.

What does a low SpaceX Fear and Greed score mean?

A low score (0 to 39) signals fear or extreme fear, where traders are cautious, risk-averse or pessimistic about the SpaceX market.

What does a high SpaceX Fear and Greed score mean?

A high score (60 to 100) signals greed or extreme greed, where confidence, risk appetite and bullish sentiment dominate the SpaceX market.

Can I get alerts when the SpaceX Fear and Greed Index changes?

Yes. CFGI alerts let you track SpaceX sentiment across daily, 4-hour, 1-hour and 15-minute timeframes. Create alerts for fear, greed, extreme readings or specific SpaceX Fear and Greed Index score changes.

Yes. The CFGI widget lets you embed a live SpaceX Fear and Greed Index on your website, so visitors can see current SpaceX sentiment, live scores and market conditions without you building the data system yourself.
