Roblox is the platform where tens of millions of mostly young players build, share and play each other's games, paying in its Robux currency while creators take a cut. Founded by David Baszucki and public since 2021, it is valued on engagement, bookings and belief, which makes the stock close to pure sentiment. On the CFGI board, that shows.
The CFGI read: Roblox closed 13 days in Extreme Fear this year, placing it 16th of the stocks we rank by time spent in panic. The deepest print, 16 out of 100 on 5 May 2026 at $44.04, came on a day when only 4 of 245 stocks shared the zone. The board was fine. Roblox was not, and that is the pattern: this crowd's despair is home-made.

The window opened in the opposite extreme. From 15 to 21 July 2025 the crowd held a five-day Extreme Greed streak, peaking at 87 on 18 July at $124.50, and the shares went on to print $141.56 on 29 September 2025. Then came the break: on 30 October 2025 the score collapsed 46 points in one day, 69 to 23, the most violent single-day repricing this crowd has produced, followed within a week by four straight days of Extreme Fear from 3 to 6 November.
The winter was long. A 22-day run in Fear or worse stretched from 10 December 2025 to 12 January 2026, and the price ground down to $41.31 on 11 May 2026, part of a 54% loss across the window from $103.49 to $47.59. The full ledger reads 13 days of Extreme Fear, 107 of Fear, 80 of Neutral, 64 of Greed and 9 of Extreme Greed around an average of 46, one of the more fearful profiles anywhere on the market-wide Fear and Greed Index. Even the recoveries were violent, including a 39-point jump on 6 August 2025, 38 to 77.
