What Is Kenvue?

The medicine-cabinet drama.

Kenvue is the consumer health company Johnson & Johnson spun off in 2023, taking Tylenol, Band-Aid, Listerine and Neutrogena public as a standalone business. It was designed to be the boring half of the split. On the CFGI Kenvue fear and greed index, scored since 8 May 2023, it has been anything but, producing one of the stranger sentiment arcs among the stocks we cover.

The CFGI read: Kenvue's floor of 13 out of 100 printed on 8 September 2025 at $18.43, inside a three-session spell of Extreme Fear, on a day when only 2 of 247 stocks shared that zone. The panic was entirely its own. The twist came on 3 November 2025, when the score leapt 37 points in a session, from 31 to 68, and two sessions later the crowd hit its window high of 73 out of 100 on 5 November at $16.23, a lower price than the one it had despaired at in September. Same asset, new story, opposite emotion.

Kenvue Fear and Greed Index History

Q3 2026 breakdown. The table below updates daily.

The autumn in between was brutal. Sixteen straight sessions in Fear or worse from 15 September to 6 October 2025 tracked the price down towards $14.11 on 16 October, a long way from its high of $22.84 on 25 July. And across the whole window Kenvue barely troubled Extreme Greed; 73 was about as good as the mood got.

2026 has read steadier. A 19-session run in Greed or better from 3 February to 2 March was the crowd's longest stretch of confidence, ended by the window's sharpest drop, a comparatively gentle 22 points from 64 to 42 on 3 March, and the window closed at 57, in Neutral, with the price down 10% at $19.23 from $21.37. With 6 days of Extreme Fear in 273 sessions, ranking 59th of the stocks we track, Kenvue remains the medicine cabinet with a nervous streak on the Fear and Greed Index.

Kenvue Fear and Greed Index FAQ

What is the Kenvue Fear and Greed Index today?

The Kenvue Fear and Greed Index today is 45/100 on the daily view, showing Neutral. It summarizes live Kenvue market sentiment on a 0 to 100 scale.

How is the Kenvue Fear and Greed Index calculated?

CFGI combines price action, impulse, volatility, volume, technicals, social sentiment, dominance, search interest, whale activity and order book pressure into one Kenvue fear and greed reading.

What is a good Kenvue Fear and Greed Index reading?

There is no single good reading, because the index measures mood rather than value. Extreme Fear below 25 marks the points where sentiment is most washed out, and Extreme Greed above 75 the points carrying the most risk, so what counts as good depends on whether you are buying or selling.

How accurate is the Kenvue Fear and Greed Index?

It reads sentiment accurately and predicts price poorly, and those are two different things. The score reflects what the Kenvue market feels right now across ten live inputs, so treat it as a risk gauge rather than a forecast: it tells you how one-sided the crowd has become, not what happens next.

What does the Kenvue Fear and Greed Index measure?

It measures the emotional state of the Kenvue market on a 0 to 100 scale, from extreme fear at 0 to extreme greed at 100. CFGI builds that number from ten indicators including price action, volatility, volume, momentum, technicals and social sentiment, rather than from price alone.

How do I use the Kenvue Fear and Greed Index?

Most people use it to size risk rather than to time entries. The extreme readings are the useful ones: they flag when the crowd has become one-sided, which is when caution costs least and greed costs most. Read it alongside price and volume, never on its own.

How often is the Kenvue Fear and Greed Index updated?

The Kenvue Fear and Greed Index is updated every 15 minutes, so the live reading can change as Kenvue market conditions shift.

What does a low Kenvue Fear and Greed score mean?

A low score (0 to 39) signals fear or extreme fear, where traders are cautious, risk-averse or pessimistic about the Kenvue market.

What does a high Kenvue Fear and Greed score mean?

A high score (60 to 100) signals greed or extreme greed, where confidence, risk appetite and bullish sentiment dominate the Kenvue market.

Can I get alerts when the Kenvue Fear and Greed Index changes?

Yes. CFGI alerts let you track Kenvue sentiment across daily, 4-hour, 1-hour and 15-minute timeframes. Create alerts for fear, greed, extreme readings or specific Kenvue Fear and Greed Index score changes.

Can I add the Kenvue Fear and Greed Index to my website?

Yes. The CFGI widget lets you embed a live Kenvue Fear and Greed Index on your website, so visitors can see current Kenvue sentiment, live scores and market conditions without you building the data system yourself.
