Compare GE Vernova with the whole-market reading on the Stock Market Fear and Greed Index, or every company on the stock fear and greed directory.

What Is GE Vernova?

High voltage, high floor.

GE Vernova is the energy half of the old General Electric, spun out on its own in April 2024 and suddenly one of the most strategically placed companies in the world: its gas turbines, grid equipment and wind business sit directly in the path of the power buildout that AI data centres demand, with order books for its big turbines reportedly full years into the future. On the CFGI GE Vernova fear and greed index the crowd has priced that position with remarkable conviction.

The CFGI read: The price doubled inside the window, up 101.9% from $499.88 on 23 June 2025 to $1,009.01, touching $1,174.86 on 30 June 2026, and through all of it the crowd seldom came near Extreme Fear. Its floor was 22 out of 100 on 10 June 2026 at $867.09, a price 73% above where the window opened. This crowd gets nervous at levels the previous summer would have called a triumph.

GE Vernova Fear and Greed Index History

Q3 2026 breakdown. The table below updates daily.

The early window was pure heat. The score jumped 29 points on 23 July 2025, from 49 to 78, and ran to its ceiling of 85 out of 100 on 28 July at $647.66, the last of 3 straight sessions in Extreme Greed. A 16-session stretch at Greed or better from 6 February to 2 March 2026 confirmed the pattern: 110 of the 273 days landed in Greed and another 15 in Extreme Greed, with the deepest zone barely registering.

The chill arrived only at the very end. On 22 July 2026 the score dropped 34 points, from 64 to 30, and the window closed at 27, Fear, on 24 July with the price still above $1,000. Before that, the longest gloom of the entire window was 7 sessions in Fear or worse, 16 to 24 October 2025. It ranks 210th of the stocks we track by Extreme Fear days on the Fear and Greed Index: for a company whose price doubled in thirteen months, a one-week sulk was as bad as it ever got.

GE Vernova Fear and Greed Index FAQ

What is the GE Vernova Fear and Greed Index today?

The GE Vernova Fear and Greed Index today is 53/100 on the daily view, showing Neutral. It summarizes live GE Vernova market sentiment on a 0 to 100 scale.

How is the GE Vernova Fear and Greed Index calculated?

CFGI combines price action, impulse, volatility, volume, technicals, social sentiment, dominance, search interest, whale activity and order book pressure into one GE Vernova fear and greed reading.

What is a good GE Vernova Fear and Greed Index reading?

There is no single good reading, because the index measures mood rather than value. Extreme Fear below 25 marks the points where sentiment is most washed out, and Extreme Greed above 75 the points carrying the most risk, so what counts as good depends on whether you are buying or selling.

How accurate is the GE Vernova Fear and Greed Index?

It reads sentiment accurately and predicts price poorly, and those are two different things. The score reflects what the GE Vernova market feels right now across ten live inputs, so treat it as a risk gauge rather than a forecast: it tells you how one-sided the crowd has become, not what happens next.

What does the GE Vernova Fear and Greed Index measure?

It measures the emotional state of the GE Vernova market on a 0 to 100 scale, from extreme fear at 0 to extreme greed at 100. CFGI builds that number from ten indicators including price action, volatility, volume, momentum, technicals and social sentiment, rather than from price alone.

How do I use the GE Vernova Fear and Greed Index?

Most people use it to size risk rather than to time entries. The extreme readings are the useful ones: they flag when the crowd has become one-sided, which is when caution costs least and greed costs most. Read it alongside price and volume, never on its own.

How often is the GE Vernova Fear and Greed Index updated?

The GE Vernova Fear and Greed Index is updated every 15 minutes, so the live reading can change as GE Vernova market conditions shift.

What does a low GE Vernova Fear and Greed score mean?

A low score (0 to 39) signals fear or extreme fear, where traders are cautious, risk-averse or pessimistic about the GE Vernova market.

What does a high GE Vernova Fear and Greed score mean?

A high score (60 to 100) signals greed or extreme greed, where confidence, risk appetite and bullish sentiment dominate the GE Vernova market.
