Fiserv Market Sentiment Today

Fiserv market sentiment today is shaped by price action, volatility, trading volume, technical indicators, social activity and wider market behaviour. CFGI combines these signals to show how Fiserv sentiment is changing throughout the day.

Compare Fiserv with the whole-market reading on the Stock Market Fear and Greed Index, or every company on the stock fear and greed directory.

What Is Fiserv?

The crowd that flinched first.

Fiserv is a Wisconsin payments and banking technology company, the processing plumbing behind thousands of banks and the Clover till on small-business counters across America. For years it was the definition of a boring compounder. Then on 29 October 2025 it slashed its guidance, shuffled its leadership and suffered the worst trading day in its history, and boring ended.

The CFGI read: The crowd flinched eight weeks early. From 2 September to 17 October 2025, Fiserv logged 34 consecutive days in Fear or worse, the longest such streak in its window, all before the guidance cut was public. When the news landed on 29 October the score collapsed 40 points in a day, 49 to 9, and found its floor of 6 out of 100 on 30 October at $65.19, followed by 9 straight days of Extreme Fear through 10 November. Sentiment did not react to the story here. It preceded it.

Fiserv Fear and Greed Index History

Q3 2026 breakdown. The table below updates daily.

The wreckage defines the record. Across 131 scored days Fiserv spent 15 in Extreme Fear and 75 in Fear against just 2 days of Greed, both of them its first two on the board, 24 and 25 June 2025, when the score peaked at 69 with the price at $172.66. The average reading is 33, which makes this the most fearful crowd by average score among all the stocks we track. The price explains why: from a high of $175.55 on 3 July 2025 to a low of $59.77 on 20 November, down 61.5% across the window.

The recovery has been grudging. The biggest single-day gain of the whole window was just 16 points, 41 to 57 on 21 October 2025, against that 40-point fall, an asymmetry that is itself a character reading. On its worst day, 118 of the stocks we track sat in Fear or worse, 18 of them in Extreme Fear, so the market shared some of the mood without sharing the damage. By 24 July 2026 the score had climbed all the way back to 50, Neutral, a crowd no longer terrified, merely unconvinced, and one hard-earned data point in the overall market Fear and Greed Index.

Fiserv Fear and Greed Index FAQ

What is the Fiserv Fear and Greed Index today?

The Fiserv Fear and Greed Index today is 48/100 on the daily view, showing Neutral. It summarizes live Fiserv market sentiment on a 0 to 100 scale.

How is the Fiserv Fear and Greed Index calculated?

CFGI combines price action, impulse, volatility, volume, technicals, social sentiment, dominance, search interest, whale activity and order book pressure into one Fiserv fear and greed reading.

What is a good Fiserv Fear and Greed Index reading?

There is no single good reading, because the index measures mood rather than value. Extreme Fear below 25 marks the points where sentiment is most washed out, and Extreme Greed above 75 the points carrying the most risk, so what counts as good depends on whether you are buying or selling.

How accurate is the Fiserv Fear and Greed Index?

It reads sentiment accurately and predicts price poorly, and those are two different things. The score reflects what the Fiserv market feels right now across ten live inputs, so treat it as a risk gauge rather than a forecast: it tells you how one-sided the crowd has become, not what happens next.

What does the Fiserv Fear and Greed Index measure?

It measures the emotional state of the Fiserv market on a 0 to 100 scale, from extreme fear at 0 to extreme greed at 100. CFGI builds that number from ten indicators including price action, volatility, volume, momentum, technicals and social sentiment, rather than from price alone.

How do I use the Fiserv Fear and Greed Index?

Most people use it to size risk rather than to time entries. The extreme readings are the useful ones: they flag when the crowd has become one-sided, which is when caution costs least and greed costs most. Read it alongside price and volume, never on its own.

How often is the Fiserv Fear and Greed Index updated?

The Fiserv Fear and Greed Index is updated every 15 minutes, so the live reading can change as Fiserv market conditions shift.

What does a low Fiserv Fear and Greed score mean?

A low score (0 to 39) signals fear or extreme fear, where traders are cautious, risk-averse or pessimistic about the Fiserv market.

What does a high Fiserv Fear and Greed score mean?

A high score (60 to 100) signals greed or extreme greed, where confidence, risk appetite and bullish sentiment dominate the Fiserv market.

Can I get alerts when the Fiserv Fear and Greed Index changes?

Yes. CFGI alerts let you track Fiserv sentiment across daily, 4-hour, 1-hour and 15-minute timeframes. Create alerts for fear, greed, extreme readings or specific Fiserv Fear and Greed Index score changes.

Can I add the Fiserv Fear and Greed Index to my website?

Yes. The CFGI widget lets you embed a live Fiserv Fear and Greed Index on your website, so visitors can see current Fiserv sentiment, live scores and market conditions without you building the data system yourself.
