Disney Market Sentiment Today

Disney market sentiment today is shaped by price action, volatility, trading volume, technical indicators, social activity and wider market behaviour. CFGI combines these signals to show how Disney sentiment is changing throughout the day.

Compare Disney with the whole-market reading on the Stock Market Fear and Greed Index, or every company on the stock fear and greed directory.

What Is Disney?

The magic on mute.

Disney has spent a century turning stories into an empire of studios, theme parks, ESPN and streaming, and its stock is one of the most widely held names in America. Which makes the CFGI Disney fear and greed index read almost poignant: in 273 scored days this crowd has barely registered a day of Extreme Greed, topping out at 77, and 139 of those days, more than half the window, closed in Neutral.

The CFGI read: The ceiling of 77 out of 100 arrived on 8 May 2026 at $108.02, two days after a 27-point jump from 41 to 68, and the crowd could not hold it. The floor, 18 on 17 November 2025 at $105.69, was a rare visit to Extreme Fear, set four days after the score's steepest fall, 37 points from 71 to 34 on 13 November. Note the prices: the year's peak emotion and trough emotion printed barely two dollars apart. This crowd's feelings move far more than the tape that feeds them.

Disney Fear and Greed Index History

Q3 2026 breakdown. The table below updates daily.

The defining stretch was the March 2026 grind: 21 consecutive sessions in Fear or worse from 3 to 31 March, the longest such run in the file, with the price bottoming at $92.42 on 27 March inside it. That was not a crash, it was a slow leak, and it fits a crowd whose average reading of 46 makes Disney the 34th most fearful of the stocks we score by average mood.

The price gave the mood plenty of cover, falling 19.3% across the window from $117.75, with the high of $124.01 all the way back on 30 June 2025. The last Greed-or-better run of any length, nine days, dates to the window's opening fortnight in early July 2025, and the window closes true to form at 39, in Fear. Against the wider Fear and Greed Index, Disney is the crowd that stopped celebrating without really panicking: the occasional Extreme Fear day against ninety-one of ordinary worry.

Disney Fear and Greed Index FAQ

What is the Disney Fear and Greed Index today?

The Disney Fear and Greed Index today is 56/100 on the daily view, showing Neutral. It summarizes live Disney market sentiment on a 0 to 100 scale.

How is the Disney Fear and Greed Index calculated?

CFGI combines price action, impulse, volatility, volume, technicals, social sentiment, dominance, search interest, whale activity and order book pressure into one Disney fear and greed reading.

What is a good Disney Fear and Greed Index reading?

There is no single good reading, because the index measures mood rather than value. Extreme Fear below 25 marks the points where sentiment is most washed out, and Extreme Greed above 75 the points carrying the most risk, so what counts as good depends on whether you are buying or selling.

How accurate is the Disney Fear and Greed Index?

It reads sentiment accurately and predicts price poorly, and those are two different things. The score reflects what the Disney market feels right now across ten live inputs, so treat it as a risk gauge rather than a forecast: it tells you how one-sided the crowd has become, not what happens next.

What does the Disney Fear and Greed Index measure?

It measures the emotional state of the Disney market on a 0 to 100 scale, from extreme fear at 0 to extreme greed at 100. CFGI builds that number from ten indicators including price action, volatility, volume, momentum, technicals and social sentiment, rather than from price alone.

How do I use the Disney Fear and Greed Index?

Most people use it to size risk rather than to time entries. The extreme readings are the useful ones: they flag when the crowd has become one-sided, which is when caution costs least and greed costs most. Read it alongside price and volume, never on its own.

How often is the Disney Fear and Greed Index updated?

The Disney Fear and Greed Index is updated every 15 minutes, so the live reading can change as Disney market conditions shift.

What does a low Disney Fear and Greed score mean?

A low score (0 to 39) signals fear or extreme fear, where traders are cautious, risk-averse or pessimistic about the Disney market.

What does a high Disney Fear and Greed score mean?

A high score (60 to 100) signals greed or extreme greed, where confidence, risk appetite and bullish sentiment dominate the Disney market.

Can I get alerts when the Disney Fear and Greed Index changes?

Yes. CFGI alerts let you track Disney sentiment across daily, 4-hour, 1-hour and 15-minute timeframes. Create alerts for fear, greed, extreme readings or specific Disney Fear and Greed Index score changes.

Can I add the Disney Fear and Greed Index to my website?

Yes. The CFGI widget lets you embed a live Disney Fear and Greed Index on your website, so visitors can see current Disney sentiment, live scores and market conditions without you building the data system yourself.

Can I use Disney Fear and Greed data in my own app or trading bot?

Yes. The CFGI API gives developers access to Disney sentiment data, multi-timeframe fear and greed scores and market signals for dashboards, trading bots, apps and research tools.
