What Is AppLovin?
Momentum, both barrels.
AppLovin is a mobile advertising platform whose Axon engine decides, billions of times a day, which ad is worth showing to which user. It shed its own game studios to become a pure advertising machine, and the stock became one of the defining momentum trades of the AI era. On the CFGI AppLovin fear and greed index, the crowd behaves exactly the way you would expect a momentum crowd to behave: it does everything at full volume.
The CFGI read: AppLovin's floor, 15 out of 100 on 5 February 2026 at $375.23, printed on the single worst Extreme Fear day of the stock year, when 34 of 246 stocks were in Extreme Fear together. What followed was pure AppLovin. On 9 February the score posted its biggest jump of the window, 39 points from 18 to 57, and three sessions later, on 12 February 2026, its biggest drop, 45 points from 66 to 21. One week, one round trip through the entire emotional scale.
AppLovin Fear and Greed Index History
Q3 2026 breakdown. The table below updates daily.
The greed runs are just as immoderate. Between 22 August and 2 October 2025 the crowd held Greed or better for 29 consecutive sessions, including 13 straight days of Extreme Greed from 8 to 24 September, and the score topped out at 90 out of 100 on 30 September 2025 at $718.54. In all, 33 days of the window closed in Extreme Greed against 5 in Extreme Fear, and the price ran from a low of $333.78 on 27 June 2025 to $733.60 on 22 December 2025 before giving much of it back.
The window ends mid-slump. From 13 July 2026 the crowd strung together 10 straight sessions in Fear or worse, still unbroken at the close on 24 July, when the score sat at 26 with the price at $392.50, up 17% over the full stretch. On the full crypto and stock Fear and Greed Index AppLovin is the stock that swings hardest between conviction and doubt, and its average of 53 out of 100 is simply the midpoint of two extremes it rarely visits calmly.

AppLovin Fear and Greed Index FAQ
What is the AppLovin Fear and Greed Index today?
The AppLovin Fear and Greed Index today is 31/100 on the daily view, showing Fear. It summarizes live AppLovin market sentiment on a 0 to 100 scale.
How is the AppLovin Fear and Greed Index calculated?
CFGI combines price action, impulse, volatility, volume, technicals, social sentiment, dominance, search interest, whale activity and order book pressure into one AppLovin fear and greed reading.
What is a good AppLovin Fear and Greed Index reading?
There is no single good reading, because the index measures mood rather than value. Extreme Fear below 25 marks the points where sentiment is most washed out, and Extreme Greed above 75 the points carrying the most risk, so what counts as good depends on whether you are buying or selling.
How accurate is the AppLovin Fear and Greed Index?
It reads sentiment accurately and predicts price poorly, and those are two different things. The score reflects what the AppLovin market feels right now across ten live inputs, so treat it as a risk gauge rather than a forecast: it tells you how one-sided the crowd has become, not what happens next.
What does the AppLovin Fear and Greed Index measure?
It measures the emotional state of the AppLovin market on a 0 to 100 scale, from extreme fear at 0 to extreme greed at 100. CFGI builds that number from ten indicators including price action, volatility, volume, momentum, technicals and social sentiment, rather than from price alone.
How do I use the AppLovin Fear and Greed Index?
Most people use it to size risk rather than to time entries. The extreme readings are the useful ones: they flag when the crowd has become one-sided, which is when caution costs least and greed costs most. Read it alongside price and volume, never on its own.
How often is the AppLovin Fear and Greed Index updated?
The AppLovin Fear and Greed Index is updated every 15 minutes, so the live reading can change as AppLovin market conditions shift.
What does a low AppLovin Fear and Greed score mean?
A low score (0 to 39) signals fear or extreme fear, where traders are cautious, risk-averse or pessimistic about the AppLovin market.
