What Is Jupiter?

The unshaken router.

Jupiter is the aggregator that routes most of Solana's trading: one interface pulling liquidity from across the network's exchanges, extended over time into perpetuals, a launchpad and one of crypto's most engaged token communities. On the CFGI Jupiter fear and greed index it stands out for something rarer than volume. Over a full year of scoring, through a price collapse that would have broken most crowds, this one barely went near Extreme Fear.

The CFGI read: The composure is measurable. Jupiter's worst reading of the year, 25 out of 100, came on 11 October 2025, the day 93 of the 96 coins we then tracked closed in Fear or worse and 17 sat in Extreme Fear, the broadest panic in our records. Even then, Jupiter itself stopped at Fear. Just as telling: its best reading, 79 on 10 May 2026, printed with the price at $0.27, below the $0.34 its worst mood was recorded at. This crowd prices direction, not level.

Jupiter Fear and Greed Index History

Q3 2026 breakdown. The table below updates daily.

The year's ledger: 92 days in Fear, 247 in Neutral, 26 in Greed, with the extremes barely featuring at either end. That calm was earned against a brutal tape. The price fell 68% across the window, from $0.59 on 27 July 2025 to $0.19, bottoming at $0.14 on 11 February 2026.

When fear did come it came in one long exhale, a 10-day Fear-or-worse run from 20 to 29 March 2026, and when greed came it was brief, seven days from 5 to 11 May 2026 around that 79 peak. The sharpest single move of the year was recent, 25 points shed in a day on 8 July 2026, 66 down to 41. Jupiter closed the window at 38, in Fear, one steady reading among the hundreds the market-wide Fear and Greed Index takes daily across our tracked coins.

Jupiter Fear and Greed Index FAQ

What is the Jupiter Fear and Greed Index today?

The Jupiter Fear and Greed Index today is 53/100 on the daily view, showing Neutral. It summarizes live Jupiter market sentiment on a 0 to 100 scale.

How is the Jupiter Fear and Greed Index calculated?

CFGI combines price action, impulse, volatility, volume, technicals, social sentiment, dominance, search interest, whale activity and order book pressure into one Jupiter fear and greed reading.

What is a good Jupiter Fear and Greed Index reading?

There is no single good reading, because the index measures mood rather than value. Extreme Fear below 25 marks the points where sentiment is most washed out, and Extreme Greed above 75 the points carrying the most risk, so what counts as good depends on whether you are buying or selling.

How accurate is the Jupiter Fear and Greed Index?

It reads sentiment accurately and predicts price poorly, and those are two different things. The score reflects what the Jupiter market feels right now across ten live inputs, so treat it as a risk gauge rather than a forecast: it tells you how one-sided the crowd has become, not what happens next.

What does the Jupiter Fear and Greed Index measure?

It measures the emotional state of the Jupiter market on a 0 to 100 scale, from extreme fear at 0 to extreme greed at 100. CFGI builds that number from ten indicators including price action, volatility, volume, momentum, technicals and social sentiment, rather than from price alone.

How do I use the Jupiter Fear and Greed Index?

Most people use it to size risk rather than to time entries. The extreme readings are the useful ones: they flag when the crowd has become one-sided, which is when caution costs least and greed costs most. Read it alongside price and volume, never on its own.

How often is the Jupiter Fear and Greed Index updated?

The Jupiter Fear and Greed Index is updated every 15 minutes, so the live reading can change as Jupiter market conditions shift.

What does a low Jupiter Fear and Greed score mean?

A low score (0 to 39) signals fear or extreme fear, where traders are cautious, risk-averse or pessimistic about the Jupiter market.

What does a high Jupiter Fear and Greed score mean?

A high score (60 to 100) signals greed or extreme greed, where confidence, risk appetite and bullish sentiment dominate the Jupiter market.

Can I get alerts when the Jupiter Fear and Greed Index changes?

Yes. CFGI alerts let you track Jupiter sentiment across daily, 4-hour, 1-hour and 15-minute timeframes. Create alerts for fear, greed, extreme readings or specific Jupiter Fear and Greed Index score changes.
