What Is Injective?

Built for markets, rarely moved.

Injective is a layer 1 built specifically for finance: an on-chain order book, native derivatives and cross-chain plumbing designed so trading applications never have to compromise on speed. It launched its mainnet in 2021, and its crowd, fittingly, behaves like a desk of professionals. Across a full year on the CFGI Injective fear and greed index, it has rarely strayed into Extreme Fear or Extreme Greed.

The CFGI read: Even on 11 October 2025, when 93 of the 96 tokens then tracked were in Fear or worse and 17 of them in Extreme Fear, INJ's score stopped at 20 out of 100, its low for the year, one point above the extreme line, at a price of $8.50. Its high is just as telling: 71, on 13 May 2026, at $5.14, the strongest greed of the year arriving with the price at roughly a third of its August 2025 peak. The crowd cheered a recovery, not a top.

Injective Fear and Greed Index History

Q3 2026 breakdown. The table below updates daily.

The year's ledger shows 224 of 365 days in Neutral, 103 in Fear, 38 in Greed and an average of 46: the profile of a crowd that ranks 78th of 104 for average fearfulness, calmer than most of the tokens we score. That calm was earned the hard way. The price fell 67.9% over the window, from $15.35 to $4.93, with a high of $16.02 on 13 August 2025 and a low of $2.74 on 2 April 2026.

The worst stretch of mood came early in 2026: 22 consecutive days of Fear or worse from 29 January to 19 February, and even then the score never cracked below the 20 printed the previous October. The sharpest single-day moves bracket the same turbulent autumn, a 22-point drop from 52 to 30 on 15 October 2025 and a 24-point jump from 29 to 53 on 7 November 2025, when sentiment right across the main Fear and Greed Index was whipping between extremes. INJ swung with it, and still kept both feet inside the ordinary zones. Today it reads 40, Neutral.

Injective Fear and Greed Index FAQ

What is the Injective Fear and Greed Index today?

The Injective Fear and Greed Index today is 38/100 on the daily view, showing Fear. It summarizes live Injective market sentiment on a 0 to 100 scale.

How is the Injective Fear and Greed Index calculated?

CFGI combines price action, impulse, volatility, volume, technicals, social sentiment, dominance, search interest, whale activity and order book pressure into one Injective fear and greed reading.

What is a good Injective Fear and Greed Index reading?

There is no single good reading, because the index measures mood rather than value. Extreme Fear below 25 marks the points where sentiment is most washed out, and Extreme Greed above 75 the points carrying the most risk, so what counts as good depends on whether you are buying or selling.

How accurate is the Injective Fear and Greed Index?

It reads sentiment accurately and predicts price poorly, and those are two different things. The score reflects what the Injective market feels right now across ten live inputs, so treat it as a risk gauge rather than a forecast: it tells you how one-sided the crowd has become, not what happens next.

What does the Injective Fear and Greed Index measure?

It measures the emotional state of the Injective market on a 0 to 100 scale, from extreme fear at 0 to extreme greed at 100. CFGI builds that number from ten indicators including price action, volatility, volume, momentum, technicals and social sentiment, rather than from price alone.

How do I use the Injective Fear and Greed Index?

Most people use it to size risk rather than to time entries. The extreme readings are the useful ones: they flag when the crowd has become one-sided, which is when caution costs least and greed costs most. Read it alongside price and volume, never on its own.

How often is the Injective Fear and Greed Index updated?

The Injective Fear and Greed Index is updated every 15 minutes, so the live reading can change as Injective market conditions shift.

What does a low Injective Fear and Greed score mean?

A low score (0 to 39) signals fear or extreme fear, where traders are cautious, risk-averse or pessimistic about the Injective market.

What does a high Injective Fear and Greed score mean?

A high score (60 to 100) signals greed or extreme greed, where confidence, risk appetite and bullish sentiment dominate the Injective market.

Can I get alerts when the Injective Fear and Greed Index changes?
