Reading the ten signals
Why it's moving
Technical Indicators
These defaults answer the four questions that move any price: which way is it trending (moving averages, MACD), how strong and how stretched is the move (RSI, Stochastic RSI), and how wild is it right now (Bollinger Bands). One read per job, so signals confirm each other instead of repeating. Add your own from the full library below.
Advanced Chart
Price and Fear and Greed on one chart, so you can see whether sentiment leads or lags the price. The Fear and Greed line is coloured by zone; toggle any of the ten signals to overlay it. Left axis: score, 0 to 100. Right axis: price.
The Ten Signals Behind the Score
Your Fear and Greed score is the blend of these ten signals. Each is a 0-100 read of its own: above ~60 leans greedy/bullish, below ~40 leans fearful. This is why the headline number is what it is. Tap the ? on any to learn what it measures.
