Commission is credited on every payment that customer makes, not only the first, and your rate on them goes up the longer they stay. Balances clear after 30 days and are paid once they pass $50.

How the rate is earned
Your Rate Follows Your Book.
Anyone can talk someone into signing up once. The rate here rewards the harder thing, which is sending people who stay. Your base comes from how many of your customers are subscribed right now, and on top of that every customer earns you more the longer they keep paying. Both are worked out automatically.
The base moves with your active customers, so it can go down as well as up if a lot of them lapse. The retention bonus cannot: a customer only gets older. Rates already paid are never revisited either, so a change only ever affects what you earn next.

Applied per customer, not per account, so a referral from last year can be earning you more than one from last week. Capped at 50%.
A worked example. You have a dozen customers, all still subscribed, so your base is 30%. One of them subscribed fourteen months ago and is still paying: on their renewals you earn 45%. Another signed up last week: on theirs you earn 30% for now, rising as they stay.

What One Referral Is Worth.
At the 25% starting rate, which is the least you can earn. The last column is the first twelve months, and it already counts a 4 week plan as thirteen payments a year rather than twelve. It does not stop there: the same customer keeps paying you in year two at a higher rate, up to 50%.

1. Your links and codes
You are given one code. It works in two forms, and both attribute to the same account.

Sending someone to the asset they care about converts better than sending everyone to the homepage. The parameter is removed from the address bar after it is recorded, so the page your reader shares onward does not carry your code.
2. How a sale is attributed
- The click is recorded on our server, not in the browser, so it survives ad blockers and Safari's tracking protection.
- Attribution lasts 90 days from the first click.
- First touch wins. If someone arrives through your link and later through another, the sale stays with you.
- It also covers existing free accounts. If a reader signed up months ago and subscribes through your link today, that is your referral.
- The link is the only mechanism. There is no code to type at checkout, so there is nothing for a customer to forget or a coupon site to leak.
3. How commission is calculated
Commission is 25% of the amount the customer actually paid on each invoice, after any discount and before nothing else. It is credited when the payment settles, which means a failed or pending payment never creates a balance. Every renewal earns again, at whatever rate that customer has reached.
If a customer refunds or raises a chargeback, the commission on that payment is reversed. If it had already been paid to you, the amount is carried against your next payout. We do not invoice you for it.
4. Payouts
- Commission clears 30 days after the customer paid, which matches the window in which they could ask for a refund.
- Cleared balances are paid monthly, once the balance is at least $50.
- Below the minimum, the balance rolls forward. Nothing expires.
- Payouts go out through Stripe, the same rail CFGI takes payments on, so there is no second account for you to open and no Stripe account of your own is needed.
- When your balance first clears we send a secure Stripe link to collect your details. They go straight to Stripe, so CFGI never sees or stores your bank information.
- You are responsible for any tax due in your own country.
5. Programme rules
Two of these are legal requirements rather than house preferences. Every placement must carry a clear disclosure that the link is paid, close enough to the link that a reader sees it without expanding anything. And CFGI must never be presented as financial advice or paired with a recommendation to buy or trade a particular asset, which is what keeps your content outside the financial promotions rules in the UK and EU.
Not allowed:
- Bidding on CFGI brand terms in paid search
- Presenting CFGI as financial advice or promising returns
- Pairing a CFGI link with an inducement to buy or trade a specific asset
- Unsolicited email, spam, or automated posting
- Self referral, including referring accounts you control
- Coupon scraping sites and cookie stuffing
Breaking these suspends the account. Suspension stops new attribution, and commission already earned honestly is still paid.
6. Brand and creative assets
You may use the CFGI name, logo and screenshots of the product in your placements. Live scores, charts and the embeddable widgets are public, so you can show real data rather than a mock up. Do not alter the logo, imply CFGI endorses your other products, or present a modified score as ours. For a logo pack or a custom landing page, write to partners@cfgi.io.

Is there an application to get through?
No. Pick a code in your account and the link works immediately. Nothing is queued for review, so you can join and post on the same day.
I have a large channel or community. Can I get a better rate to start?
Yes. The ladder is the default, not the limit. Email partners@cfgi.io with where you publish and roughly how many people you reach, and we will agree a starting rate that reflects it, with custom creative and a direct line to the team. A negotiated rate is a floor: you still earn the retention bonus on top and still move up on volume.
Is commission on the full price the customer pays?
It is calculated on the payment after payment processing fees, not on the sticker price. Card processing takes a cut before the money reaches us, and paying a share of the pre-fee amount would mean that cut comes out of our side twice. The difference is small, and your dashboard shows the exact figure behind every commission.
Can my rate go down?
The base can. It is set by how many of your customers are subscribed right now, so if a lot of them lapse you move back down a tier, and if they come back you move up again. The retention bonus cannot go down, because it is based on how long a customer has been paying and that only increases. Commission already paid is never recalculated.
Does the commission ever stop?
No. There is no cutoff at twelve months or anywhere else. You earn on every payment a referred customer makes for as long as they keep paying, and your rate on them rises the longer they stay.
Do I need to keep my referrals subscribed to earn the bonus?
You do not have to do anything, and you cannot control whether someone stays. The bonus exists because sending people who genuinely fit the product is worth more to us than sending volume, and this is how that gets paid for. Recommend CFGI to people it actually suits and the rate looks after itself.
Do I need to be a CFGI customer to join?
No. You need a free CFGI account so the dashboard has somewhere to live, but you do not need a paid subscription to become an affiliate or to earn.
What counts as a referral?
Anyone who clicks your link and starts a paid subscription within 90 days. It also covers people who already had a free CFGI account, which matters because most of our audience signs up long before they subscribe.
Is the commission really recurring?
Yes, and it does not expire. You earn on every payment that customer ever makes, and your rate on them rises the longer they stay: 25% at the start, then more from month 4, then more again from month 13. An annual subscriber earns you commission once a year, a weekly subscriber earns you commission every week.
When and how do I get paid?

Put your link in the description or show notes and say it out loud. Attribution is based on the click, so anyone who visits it and subscribes within 90 days is yours, whether they click straight away or come back a month later.
Do I have to disclose that my links are paid?
Yes, and it is a condition of the programme. Regulators in the US, UK and EU require a clear disclosure close to the link. A short line such as paid link is enough, and it must be visible without expanding a description.
Can two affiliates claim the same customer?
No. Attribution is first touch and permanent: the first affiliate to refer an account keeps it, and a later link does not overwrite it.
